written by Lucy Kruger
Produced by Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys, with André Leo.
Evening Train is the first release from Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys’ Transit Tapes (for women who move furniture around) and is one of the first songs Lucy wrote after moving to Berlin from South Africa in 2018. It speaks to the alienation and intimacy of a train ride in a city that you suddenly call home. The train offers a small moment of shared space with strangers and a physical proximity that can feel both comforting and painful when you are missing touch and closeness.
The Lost Boys are:
Lucy Kruger - vocals and guitar
Liú Mottes - guitar
Andreas Miranda - bass
Martin Perret - drums and percussion
with
André Leo - guitar drones on Braille, A House as well as vocals on Evening Train
Louis Gee - keyboard on Braille, A Stranger’s Chest, A House
Mixed by Simon Ratcliffe at Sound & Motion Studios (Cape Town)
Mastered by Philipp Welsing at Original Mastering (Hamburg)
