Artist's inspiration:
“Because the force of love is a cosmic principle, it is latent in everybody. The force of love (satyagraha) is transformative and it works in everyone.”
Gandhi believed in the intrinsic interconnectedness of everyone and everything and it was thing understanding that influenced the practice of satyagraha.
In their article, Louise and Jana write the following about Satyagraha: “Soul-force or love force (Satyagraha) works evenly, constantly and unnoticed in the background, building the world, which is why the world as such is based ‘not on the force of arms but on the force of truth or love”.
Gandhi never separated practice from theory and it is through the embodiment of Soul Force that the practice of nonviolent political resistance developed.
